Requirements:

  • MUST be knowledgeable with home networking (WiFi routers, smart devices, troubleshooting)
  • Must be able to access crawl spaces, attics and rooftops
  • Must be willing to carry up to 80lbs, and climb a ladder up to 28′ (safety training will be provided)
  • Must be organized and have a professional appearance (you’ll be the first impression of our company to many people!)
  • Must pass a criminal and drivers background check

This position will manage our Data networks and Server Administration.  A company as unique as White Cloud will need a Unique individual with a great attitude, creative mindset, and a drive to always grow and make things better.

This individual will maintain our data networks for all our services and offices using Cisco, Arris, Juniper, Microtik and Ubiquiti network hardware (but more to be added later).  They will also build and manage servers on virtual machines to support and manage our networks and business needs.

Additionally there will be support of field and tower crews during upgrades, changes and construction to ensure new hardware is managed and brought online.

Examples of skills and experience we are looking for:

  • A major vendor Network Admin certification or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, MLPS
  • Security management with ACL’s, firewalls, DDOS mitigation and prevention and NetFlow management
  • Linux, Virtual Machine, and Windows Servers

We are looking for a technician to join our team of wireless technicians to service and maintain our expanding footprint of tower sites.

Skills and experience desired:

  • Understanding and knowledge of point to multipoint, and point to point wireless technologies
  • Tower climbing experience (certification preferred, will train and certify if experienced)
  • Basic electrical skills (DC, POE)
  • Ethernet, Lan/Wan, WiFi skills

This person must be organized, have a clean driving and criminal record and be willing to learn and assist where needed.

We are building networks due to install customers in the summer 2021.  We are looking for the right person to be our regional wireless chief technician to maintain and service systems and customers.

The first phase of construction will be 10 towers, then will grow to 50 towers over the next 12 months.  While this position will not be responsible for those projects, involvement is desired for this individual to know how the new system is built and works.

This person will be responsible for maintenance and repair of regional LTE Wireless Network.  This person will oversee structural maintenance of towers, manage replacements and upgrades of all hardware. Will ensure the FWA system is running at peak performance at all times through preventative maintenance and monitoring.

Skills and experience required:

  • Cell or Fixed Wireless networks maintenance
  • Routing/switching
  • LTE and Microwave PTP networks
  • Tower Climbing certification

As the team grows, this person will support and lead the FWA Maintenance techs. Will oversee the safety of FWA Personnel. This person will have an understanding of the entire FWA network, configuration and expected performance.  Will be able to perform all aspects of wireless network repair and construction will be able to autonomously maintain the network.

White Cloud is growing, and gaining customers daily!  With that we need to add more personnel to support our customers and continue our commitment to answer the phone within 1 minute.

The Technical Support Representative will be on a team of people who assist customers with their service.  Most calls are basic troubleshooting, such as reconnecting to WiFi, rebooting equipment. Some require more attention and analysis of our diagnostic tools.

This person we hire will need to be analytical enough to look at the details, and friendly enough to help less tech-savvy customers with their needs patienly.

Skills and knowledge desired:

  • Basic WiFi knowledge (do you know how to program a home router?)
  • PC, tablet, smartphone, smart device network and troubleshooting
  • Ability to intuitively understand troubleshooting, and web interface management tools

Broadlinc is looking for local team members to support, install and survey for our Fixed Wireless LTE home internet products. As a Service and Premise Technician you will be the face of our company’s support team for many customers when needed, and will provide local support for our technical team in the area.

Functions:

  • Perform site surveys for potential customers to evaluate serviceability.
  • Diagnose customer problems at service calls and restore functional service to existing customers.
  • Install new customers with Internet service, which includes mounting equipment at roof height, running Cat5-E cable from outside to the customer’s computer inside.
  • Configure routers and network devices for access to Internet services.
  • Perform equipment upgrades for existing customers
  • Assist contracted installers with advanced issues
  • Perform guided maintenance and testing at tower sites and headend facilities

Skills:

  • Ability to work independently, using sound judgement principles.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, high-change environment while managing multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day.
  • Must demonstrate a desire to learn, supported with a love for technology.
  • Climb and scale small towers or buildings, roofs, tv towers, ladders from 22-30 ft tall
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to handle and resolve complaints in a timely manner
  • Must have active listening skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Good Driving Record

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Basic understanding of computer networking
  • Experience with LTE or Fixed Wireless internet service a plus but not required

Work Environment/Hazards:

  • Working in outdoor elements such as cold, hot, precipitation and wind
  • In proximity of heavy machinery and moving vehicles
  • Moderate noise level
  • Use of PPE
  • Working in elevated places such as towers

Physical Demands:

  • Walk, stand, climb, bend, stoop, crawl, lift, drive, sit, listen
  • Fit and crawl in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and basements
  • Climbing 22-30 ft heights on ladders
  • Climb up to 150 feet on towers
  • Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffoldings, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms
  • Must be able to climb roof tops of all types and to perform job duties from high places.
  • Must be able to pull own body weight plus equipment weight up roofs and vertical tower repeatedly
  • Frequently required to use hand and power tools

Working Hours/Days:

  • 40 hours minimum
  • Overtime on evenings and weekends as needed

Travel Requirements:

  • 0-20% travel required
  • Must be able to stay in Northern KY for a minimum of 3 days at a time for training (travel and hotel paid)

This person will take phone calls from customers to take orders, payments and assist with their accounts. Would like the candidate to have some customer service and teller/cashier experience. Candidate must be comfortable using a computer, balance a cash drawer, and be able to calculate batches of payments. Must be friendly and have a pleasant phone voice.
